Everyone was super friendly right at the entrance. They greeted us and we were seated right away. The staff is quick and Javier even came by and chatted with us. Our waiter clearly knew the menu very well which is very refreshing. We were just in town for graduation but will stop by every single chance we get! Thank you for the great service!

Love this place! My niece wanted to celebrate at Javier's. She loves the food, they have great children's plates with variety and many options for adults as well. They are considerate and check back with the table for needs like drink refills, salsa and chips and have a great time celebrating birthdays with a songs and birthday sundae.

The tacquito appetizers tasted fresh, crispy and light. The meat on the inside of them was well cooked and seasoned as well! Aside from appetizers, the enchilada sauce they use was easily the best I've had in awhile and the chicken in my chicken enchilada was cooked perfectly! Light and juicy! Wish they had a location in Salt Lake!

If you really value your restaurant experience, Javier's fits the bill for relatively cheap, but if you're looking for mature Mexican flavors then look elsewhere. I give the customer service and ambiance of this place 5 stars hands down. All the staff were fantastic, and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. That said, I wasn't all that impressed by the food! I mean, it was *good*--a solid 3 stars--but, in the midst of the other fantastic Mexican food available in Utah, it was just a little disappointing: the chicken looked like it came from a can and the sauces didn't have any of that signature spicy kick you expect from Mexican food.
